Interpage's OutFax Secure provides for your Web site's or company's faxing needs without the need for expensive fax servers or the support that they require. Like the standard OutFax service, OutFax-Secure accepts simple email commands (SMTP) and/or URL-based form data which are then automatically converted to fax format and sent out within a matter of seconds. SSL-based submission may be used to encrypt all submissions if desired to provide for HIPAA compliance, and additional layers of security may also be added to provide for the specific security needs of a given faxing platform or service. OutFax-Secure employs a Unix/Linux-style command set which is intuitive and easy to integrate with existing web-servers, fax/print-servers, or other devices/applications requiring fax integration.
During the fax process, Interpage's server sends back parsable confirmation messages which alert you and/or your automated servers/billing systems as to the status of your fax and it's ultimate success or delivery failure. Accounting codes are also available, and may be passed to OutFax-Secure on a per-message/fax basis, to enable Quality Assurance, monitoring, and/or billing systems to track the progress of a given fax request and assign costs to individual users or accounts as needed.
OutFax-Secure is scalable, accommodates accounts with ad hoc, occassional use, to large-scale fax broadcast integration requiring time-to-deliver commitments, multiple sender failovers, and/or other specialized or customized fax applications. Regardless the size or volume of fax traffic, the OutFax-Secure service utilizes the same simple command structure as does the standard OutFax service and those of other Interpage broadcast and notification services (Messaging/Paging, Voice Notification/OutVoice, etc.), which can be easily integrated into any fax sending, boradcast, or notification requirement.
Interpage's OutFax-Secure service provides a secure, time saving and all-inclusive solution to secure Internet faxing and traditional content-dissemination needs which can be easily integrated into current Web-based services, Cloud-based, or any other Internet service or application.
